Liandra is currently a 5th year PhD student with the Penn English department. Her dissertation focuses on Caribbean literature of the long 18th century, especially as it concerns forests and non-human life. Liandra graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from University of Minnesota and with an M.A. in English in New York University.
