Introduction to Python for Humanists

The Price Lab is excited to announce Introduction to Python for Humanists, a multi-day workshop designed to teach graduate students in the humanities the foundations of programing using Python. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills that that can open the door to cutting edge digital humanities research
The first two days (May 8 & 9) will be spent with expert instructors from Software Carpentry who will show you the basics of using your computer’s command line, using Git and GitHub for version control, and the very popular Python programming language. You will spend the next three days (May 10-12) practicing what you have learned by working collaboratively on a digital humanities project.
