Former Factulty Director Jim English and J.D. Porter, current Associate Director of Digital Research in the Humanities, have published The Eclectic Reader in the journal Cultural Analytics. The article is is based on research they have been doing for several years on readeing habits based on data from the website Good Reads. They offer insight into the concept of eclecticism when it comes to reading as well the production and the uses of literary genre in the digital age.
