Will Kelly is a rising senior majoring in English with minors in Economics and Urban Real Estate and Development. As a Summer Fellow, he will be working with Dr. Jim English on the contemporary relevance of the Great American Novel (GAN) across platforms like Goodreads, Instagram, and TikTok. Through this work, he hopes to consider whether the concept still holds value—or if it now functions primarily as an ironic relic of American literary culture.
