Scott Enderle

Digital Humanities Specialist, Penn Libraries

Scott Enderle is a Digital Humanities Specialist Librarian at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his PhD in English from Penn in 2011, and before returning to Penn Libraries, he taught eighteenth-century literature and digital humanities at Skidmore College.

Scott's research focuses on the relationship between humanistic and mathematical thought. He is completing a book manuscript on the epistemology of copyright in eighteenth-century Britain, a portion of which has recently appeared in PMLA (March 2016). For Penn Libraries, he develops and provides support for a broad range of statistical text analysis services as part of the Digital Scholarship group.
