Taryn Flaherty

Taryn Flaherty is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania in the Class of 2025. She is pursuing a major in History with minors in Sociology and Korean Studies. Taryn's project is a digital archive of Philadelphia Chinatown's legacy of intergenerational community organizing, conducting oral histories to document the people who live, work, and find a sense of belonging in Chinatown. Born and raised in Philly, Taryn attended school in Chinatown and seeks to highlight the agency of this beloved neighborhood in the face of predatory developments. Through this project, Taryn hopes to shed light on the history of Chinatown as told by the community, for the community.

Riley Glickman

Riley Glickman is an undergraduate in the College of Arts and Sciences, class of 2025. She is majoring in Classical Studies and submatriculating into the Master's program for Art & Archaeology of the Mediterranean World. Her research is based on an archaeological survey at a Nuraghic Bronze Age site in Sardinia, Italy (Pran'e Siddi) and the integration of geographic information systems (GIS) and digital data storage as a means to better understand archaeological landscapes. Through this work, she hopes to help contribute to the understanding of human occupation at Pran'e Siddi and other Nuraghic sites.
